Horse Racing - The 33rd Breeder's Cup

33rd Breeder's Cup.

Description:
The Breeders' Cup Classic is a Grade I Weight for Age thoroughbred horse race for 3-year-olds and older run at a distance of 1 14 miles (2,000 m) on dirt. It is held annually at a different racetrack as part of the Breeders' Cup World Championships.
The Classic is considered by many to be the premier thoroughbred horse race of the year in the U.S., although the Kentucky Derby is more widely known among casual racing fans. Once the richest race in the world, in more recent years, only the Dubai World Cup and Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe have had consistently higher purses. Often, the winner of the Classic goes on to win U.S. Horse of the Year honors. Due to the extremely high quality of horses in the event, the race is notoriously hard to predict.
The Classic is now regarded as the fourth leg of horse racing's Grand Slam—the traditional Triple Crown (Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, and Belmont Stakes) plus the Breeder's Cup Classic. After American Pharoah's Triple Crown win earlier in 2015, the term became popular; the colt became the first horse to ever accomplish this feat. Sunday Silence in 1989 was the first to claim a "Small Slam" by winning three of the four legs (but not the Triple Crown)

Commentary:
When I started breaking down the field, I noticed an interesting thing in the pedigrees of the Horses. Two of the horses caught my eye: California Chrome and Hoppertunity. Within the pedigree, are horses with names pertaining to "Luck" and "Indy". Then when I started to research the jockey and trainer it looks like they have numbers connected to the Colts as well. I am thinking this race may be a tribute to the Colts Super Bowl, if that is the case. Both were foaled in 2011, which was Andrew Luck's last year at Stanford and he was drafted in 2012. Both are 5 years old, and it is Luck's 5th year in the league.
Chrome: Lucky Pulpit ('01), A.P. Indy ('89) (Adrian Peterson vs. Indianapolis?), Lucky Soph ('92), Lucky Spell ('71), Lucky Mel ('54)
Hoppertunity: Any Given Saturday ('04), Weekend in Indy ('95), A.P. Indy ('89), Forty Niner ('85) (Frank Gore the 49er?), Hillary ('52) (tribute to Hillary?)

Syncs between Super Bowl and Breeder's Cup?
Date numerology of 52, 25. Super Bowl on 2/5, 5/2.
Date numerology of 16. Sixteen = 33, like the 33rd Breeders Cup. Colts have been in Indy for 33 seasons.
Date numerology of 32. NFL = 32.
Thirty Third Breeders Cup = 131. Super Bowl = 131.
Arcadia, CA's previous "birthday" was 13 weeks 1 day ago (131).
Breeder = 57. Fifty Seven = 131.
Twenty Sixteen Breeders Cup = 112. Houston = 112. Super Bowl in Houston.
Santa Anita Park's previous "birthday" was 10 months, 12 days ago (112).
Santa Anita = 613. 613 is the 112th prime.
Santa Anita Park's next "birthday is 51 days away. SB 51.
The Breeders Cup = 68/77. Championship = 68/77.

That's what I have so far. Drop some comments and let's get this race figured out!

    1. Pretty sure you copied and pasted this from Sean Dexter. And this information is already in the top portion of the article.

  3. Interesting California Chrome 87 Cubs win 8-7 and Clinton 8-7. Based on what's here trifecta wheel with California Chrome, Hoppertunity and War Story sounds fun. Hard to rule out Effinex who finished 2nd last year. Who names a race horse Melatonin???

  4. Just to keep it simple (like I shoulda done with the Cubs lol) is the CC at the 33rd running for Chrome with all the other syncs you found he should be a lock although at only even money. Plus we just had the CC world series

  5. Would be good to find others though for exactas and trifectas

  6. Arrogate is the lone 3-year old in the race. His trainer Bob Baffert won the Breeders Cup 2 years ago with Bayern - that would 2 winners at 3 yrs or 3 3. Arrogate = 85 = Hillary Arrogate = 510 like superbowl 51 current odds 5 - 2 like the date of the super bowl also corresponds to the date numerology. Going for his 5th win would be 5 - 0 - 1.

no doubt with all ties and OTs lately there will be a photo finish!! :D

    1. Yeah Sean Dexter had a post about it in the previous horse racing post. He goes super deep.

    2. Yeah Arrogate's coding is insane, but so is Chrome's (and even Frosted has some major digits), so I'm seeing very little value in this one unfortunately. That said, if there is value it is probably on Arrogate with all the Super Bowl connections. I found even more, like Arrogate's 1st win came 5 months 1 day prior to race day, AND his last win came on a date with 51 numerology, AND the only other horse on Equibase with the name "Arrogate" was born in '51! Born on 1/1 no less, like this current incarnation born on the 101st day. He's in lane 10. BUT Chrome is also covered in 51, HIS last win was 5 weeks 1 day prior, and he will even be 50,100 damn hours old on race day. BUT again he will be 5-1-0 or 5-0-1 this year with a Place or Show. IF Chrome wins, I think looking at the records might just be a detriment overall, since his 51's are actually stronger than Arrogate's (not counting the records). If that makes sense. Chrome has a 51 life number. Like I said though, might be good idea to lay off this one, but the result should be very instructive.

    3. I wonder if Arrogate connects to Deflategate haha

    4. Just box the exacta shouldn't lose. Definitely put more on the Chrome first side. Keep it simple. Gonna look at the under card races too

    5. Arrogate means to take without justification so I guess he could steal Chromes win

    9. Except that's what I imagine a very large segment of the betting public will do. And the connections for Frosted and Hoppertunity are enough to make me cautious.

      Delete
    10. Wouldn't that be the way they rank them though by the strength of the connections? Do you just bet them off the sportsbook or do you use the racebook? Because if you use the racebook you can make all the bets and they just give you the track prices (+10% with 5dimes) and the track doesn't care because its all calculated parimutually. It is a good idea in general though to not bet favorites because the public overbets them. But this seems like a solid play. I could see Frosted or Hop 3rd or even 2nd but Chrome is a lock just of the obvious connections and world series tributes

      Delete
    11. Another thing I was thinking about. Horse racing is much bigger than money won/lost on a single day. What I mean by that, is if a horse wins big races he becomes an elite breeding stallion, and that money is probably worth more than the individual race money. So would it make sense for Chrome to win this, to elevate him to the levels of American Pharoah and other top horses?

      Delete
    12. I wouldn't call Chrome a lock, but he is definitely coded up. And I am VERY suspicious of the whole parimutuel thing, as the line movement/finishing odds very often reflect the same numerological alignments.

  7. Would be good to find others though for exactas and trifectas

  10. In the 32 years prior, off the pace types and east coast based runners have done very well in the 32 years of this race. Last year was a bit of an abberation with American Pharoah being the lone speed. 3 YO Kentucky Derby winners have flopped in 8 straight races until Cali Chrome got 3rd in the 14' classic. Favorites have won this race 28 % of the time. I like Cali Chrome to win he is on another level right now and should dominate this race, I will single him in my pick 6

  14. By the morning odds I'm going with Chrome still at 1-1 as 11 is big right now and Arrogate 5-2 in the top 3. One of the horses with 5-1 in their odds Frosted 5-1, Hoppertunity 15-1, and Effinex 15-1 to also be the one of top 3 finishers with a photo finish involved. The 5-2 is so obvious plus 10 post position I may be off there though. Seems likely that Chrome will win, still think a photo finish would be appropo.

The jockey for that horse will now ride EFFINEX. Maybe something to decode for a 3rd place finish? 11. It seems set for Chrome but I do see a possibility of Arrogate winning. Arrogate means to take without justification. And with the gematria match with Hillary you found Sue. Could mean her stealing the election

      Delete
    12. Then again I thought something similar with the Indians and Trump and that was too far fetched so maybe this is too. Maybe hedge a little with him but that 4-10-9 cold tri is the main play. Hope it pays at least 20-1

      Delete
    13. Cold tri - is that just the straight numbers? I did actually place a bet on this. I'm not much of a gambler. but I did exacta boxes with those numbers and number 1 hopefully one of the longer shots will come in 2nd. Should have tried the trifecta it's been so long since I've been to the races I can't remember how it all works. :) That's what I'm thinking with this election all the OTs and extra innings. Cubs stealing the series and turning their river blue for the parade - parade 85, cubs blue 85, blue 40. Wonder what colors Aggogate wears?

    1. Thats what Ive been saying. I swear I'm my own worst enemy with this shit. I bet Cubs in 7 then had a wild theory it would be Indians and Trump and that cut my profits in half. Then I had this Arrogate theory but I was like nah the CC thing is such a lock like the Cubs. So I didn't hedge nearly as much as I should have. Oh well we'll get it eventually its inevitable!

      Delete
    2. I know what you mean. It was looking like CC was going to pull that out easily but suddendly slowed down during the final stretch. Obvious rigged for the election I think.

  26. The 51's were just too much. To reiterate: the championships started yesterday, a date with 51 numerology, the track birthday is 51 days away, both Arrogate and Chrome now have 5-1 records, Arrogate = 510, he has a 51 life # this year, his first win was 5 months 1 day ago, and his previous win was on a date with 51 numerology. California Chrome = 501, he has a 51 life #, he was 50,100 hours old today, and his last win was 5 weeks 1 day ago.

    1. Yea you called it I still don't regret win bets on CC or the trifecta shot but I shouldve tripled my hedge. Just the name meaning of Arrogate shouldve made it a 50/50 proposition plus all the Hillary and 51 syncs

      Delete
    2. I almost forgot the cherry on top: again the only other racehorse named Arrogate was born in '51. The long game is the most insane part of all this.

      Delete
    3. Yeah I'm always trying to look beyond the obvious. I'm always zigging when they zagging. I guess the key is to not be greedy and just cover both theories equally

    4. You are a wizard with these horses Sean! Please keep sharing

      Delete
    5. Ha thanks mate! I hear you, sometimes things appear TOO obvious, where you start wondering if they'll actually go thru with it. If we just take what they give us and not try to read too much into it we should be all set.

      Delete
    6. Could be a clue here too: with all the Super Bowl tributes today, date numerology of 52, Super Bowl is 2/5, the horse with 5/2 odds just won the "super bowl" of racing, and the New York Rangers just won 5-2 over Boston. Giants?

      Delete
    7. Yeah, I am leaning more towards Colts vs Giants than the Vikings.

    8. Arro"gate" could also mean the Colts get Deflate"gate" revenge on the Pats. I still have some OBJ commercials to decode for more Giants clues. Messin' with Sasquatch!

  29. This is really interesting. Arrogate broke from gate 9 as Jeremy pointed out Nine = 114, President of the United States = 114, Arrogate = 40/85/510/454 (election for the 45th president) Hillary = 40/85/510/868. The horse with a 5/2 morning line won the race on a day with 52 gematria Prophecy = 52 Winner = 38/83 Election = 38/83. If the horse or jockey had been wearing blue I'd have been 100% sure but those are pretty compelling numbers.

Just saw the replay first off - Chrome balked when the Jockey finally decided to let him run. Espinoza was just waiting for Arrogate to get there.

Although the race itself doesn't exactly match the story line - its probably challenging to get horses to cooperate. Maybe that would be too obvious. So I won my exacta box (with 4, 10, 9 and 1) but did not cover my total bet - was hoping one of the longer shots would come in... but this has been fun thanks for everyone's input!!

  30. I picked hopportunity in two vs and one of them was vs keen ice and one was vs melatonin and picked arrogate over effinex. I should have picked Arrogate when I saw the H in the name of that town and the definition of the word. Also 33 generally loses. The CC player in the World Series was Coco Crisp who played for the Indians. Win $9 but l0st $10 on LSU. I am better at sticking to NFL.

Winner gate 10 place 1 (b101 the beginning, beginning of Hilary's reign
GATE 4 Place 2 (freemason or Freemasonry equals 42)
    Gate 3 Place 3 (33)
Gate 9 place 4 anagram of 49 revelation equals 49

Gate 8 was scratched Eight equals 49. One horse tied to Colts (Hopportunity went 9-4 or 4-9.

The other colt horse went 4-2.
So both colt horses went 4th place and 2nd place. So to me this still means a Colts SB victory as well as Hilary tribute for Arrogate.

If this has anything to do with superbowl 52. Winning horse begins with A. Many people including myself are thinking that it will be Arizona which also begins with an A.

    ReplyDelete
  31. And gate # order was 10 4 3 9. 10-4 is like Roger that and 39 is anagram of 93 which is for NY which is where Hilary and NY Giants are from. Also Back to the Future DVD released on 10-4.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I was thinking of this: Chrome is coded to the Colts, and Arrogate is coded to Hillary and the Clinton name originated in New York. Could mean that the Colts lose to the Giants in the Super Bowl?
